At Mahali Maalum we can accommodate a maximum of 14 people sharing. We have 3 beach bungalows and 4 bush bandas(see below) available. The 3 beach bungalows are spacious and each have large, extra length king size bed, a small lounge area, outside veranda and private beach umbrella. They also have an extra single bed with mosquito net in the lounge area and can therefore sleep 3 people if required. The bush bandas are very special nature experiences high up in the trees, one with a King Size Bed, one with a Queen Size Bed, two with twin beds, each sleeping 2 people. The bandas are scattered between the lush bush garden of the property and very private.
All the units are self-sufficient with their own en-suite bathroom (shower only), solar electricity and solar hot water geyser. Large, longer European size beds with mosquito nets and a fan in the room, give you the comfort needed to fully relax and have a good, comfortable sleep whilst enjoying your holiday. You can expect a very simple but elegant glamping experience where stunning nature meets modern comfort and luxury.
The lodge is ideal for corporate groups, special celebrations, friends travelling together or family vacations.
If you are looking for a truly inspiring eco-minded vacation somewhere intimate, Mahali Maalum Barefoot Lodge, is the place for you. We have good WiFi signal available in the communal restaurant/lounge area to keep in touch with friends, family and to catch up on e-mails and work, if you really have to or want to.
